What an editor can change

Every field below is something an editor can change on Picture row. The editor builds its form from this list, so adding a field to a block never means building a screen for it.

  • Eyebrow Text Usually left empty — the section above has already said what these are.
  • Heading Text
  • Intro Text up to 400 characters
  • Layout Choice "two" puts a pair side by side on a wide screen and stacks them on a narrow one. "narrow" centres a single picture in a 720px column — use it for one picture on its own, which would otherwise stretch to full width. two · narrow — default: two
  • Pictures required Repeating list Two at most. A third would sit alone on a second row — add another picture row instead. at least 1 — up to 2
  • Picture required Picture
  • Picture description required Text What the picture shows, for someone who cannot see it. If the picture carries figures or a rate table, read out the actual numbers — they are the reason the image is here. up to 300 characters
  • Caption Text The bar under the picture. Credit the source: whose development, whose campaign material.
  • Fine print Text A centred grey line under the row — for “images are artist’s renders; finishes shown are for illustration” and the like. up to 300 characters
