What an editor can change
Every field below is something an editor can change on App hero. The editor builds its form from this list, so adding a field to a block never means building a screen for it.
- App icon required Picture A square product icon.
- Icon alt text Text Leave empty when the name sits right beside the icon — repeating it only makes a screen reader say it twice.
- Product name required Text
- Version / platform line Text Small line under the name, e.g. "Version 1.1.0 · Browser extension".
- Lede required Rich text One short paragraph saying what the product is. Inline markup allowed.
- Call to action Group Optional — the install or download link.
- Button text required Text
- Button link required Link
- Note under the button Rich text Licence, price, or what the visitor is not signing up for.
- Secondary link Group Optional quieter link beside the button, e.g. to the source repository.
